Introduction
There are many web-based image programs available to help organize a person’s image libraries. Most programs are available at no or minimum cost. We decided to review five of the most popular image libraries: SmugMug, Picasa, Flickr, York PhotoShow, and Kodak EasyShare.

Introduction and Objectives
Second Life and Active Worlds are interactive 3D virtual reality worlds. Their purpose is to combine social networking utilities such as Instant Messenger, Facebook, and MySpace into one and use avatars to enhance user interactivity. Using the downloadable platform that these programs operate on, a user can create an avatar to represent you as the user. Like a video game, the video controls the avatar which can move throughout the numerous worlds and speak to other online visitors (using IM). The two programs connect over 8 million people worldwide.
